GO-Global delivers reliable, secure, low-cost multi-user access to Windows® applications from any location, device, or operating system without using Microsoft® Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or Windows’ multi-session functionality. GO-Global customers can run applications on a centralized host, easily apply their corporate brand to their GO-Global implementation, and secure end user application access with strong encryption and two-factor authentication. To end users, applications appear as though they are running locally, with all features, functions, and branding retained.

GO-Global’s unique architecture, which operates independently of all Microsoft® Remote Desktop Services components, was first envisioned in 1995 and launched in 1999 by GraphOn Corporation. Since then, GO-Global has been adopted by companies of all types and sizes needing reliable, secure, multi-user access to Windows applications from any location, device, and operating system. GO-Global 6.1, released in October 2020, addresses the latest security and delivery challenges with two-factor authentication, strong encryption, and improved third party load balancer support. Version 6.1 also simplifies license management with cloud licensing and allows organizations to apply their own brand to GO-Global implementations.

GO-Global is used by a vast range of organization types and sizes all over the world to allow end users to remotely access and use Windows applications. GO-Global applications look and behave like applications being run locally, allowing end users to use multiple monitors, watch videos, cut-and-paste, print to a local printer, and much more. Most end users never realize that they are using GO-Global. When GO-Global is integrated into an application or hosting/managed service, it is completely transparent to the end user. Additionally, GO-Global enables businesses providing employees with business productivity software to brand their GO-Global implementation.

Unlike other multi-user remote access products that wrap features around Microsoft® Remote Desktop Services (RDS), GO-Global fully replaces Microsoft RDS functionality including multi-session kernel, Remote Desktop clients, display driver, protocol, internet gateway and management tools, which can save up to 40% over other multi-user remote access solutions. Additionally, for organizations that don’t require a comprehensive end user computing infrastructure like Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (aka XenApp/XenDesktop) or VMware Horizon, GO-Global delivers significant savings of up to 70%.
